The Bible

That the Bible in its entirety is the Holy Spirit-inspired Word of God, which has the ultimate authority for our lives. In the one and only living God, eternally existing in three persons in perfect unity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The fall of man

In the inward corruption of man through the fall into sin, and therefore in the necessity of repentance and regeneration by grace through faith alone, and in the eternal separation from God for those who ultimately remain unrepentant. In the virgin birth, the sinless life, the atoning death, the victorious resurrection, the ascension, and the continuing intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the justification and sanctification of the believer before the throne of God through faith in the finished work of Christ. In the institution by Jesus of baptism in water by immersion and of the celebration of the Lord’s supper.

Holy Spirit

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the availability of the gifts of the Spirit to all believers. In the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, through whose indwelling power the believer is enabled to live a holy life and the fruit of the Spirit is revealed in his life.

Responsibilities

In the equipping of the church by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. The responsibility for the local church rests with the pastor and elders. In the privilege and responsibility of the believer to tithe and offer. That from the victory of Jesus on the cross and from His Resurrection we have a spiritual battle to wage against the devil and his demons. In the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ and eternal fellowship with Him for all born again believers.
