Unemployment
Unemployment is a challenge in Ghana. Houses of Hope Ministries Int started microprojects to overcome the poverty of our brothers and sisters in the churches. The primary goal of the micro projects is to give skills and tools to the people, so they can make there own living. This way the familly has food and the children can go to school.
Micro projects are not without obligation. One of the purposes is repayment, so we can start new projects. Another goal is that the people are able to pay there tiths, so the churches can function. When busineses are doing well and new personel is needed, more people in the churches have an opportunity for work.
Some projects succeed, some fail. Her are some of the succesfull ones.

Trotro
Public transportation in Ghana is done by private minivans, trotro’s. The owner, the driver and byrider and of a trotro have a good daily income.
Fashion Atelier
One person is educated as a fashion designer. In his workshop he manufactures tailormade costumes. A lot of his fellowmen and visitors from abroad wear an african suit of his hands.

Foodshop
Near the church in Sunyani a small food and drink shop is situated. The shop has a cooler and freezer, which are not available in the environment.
The shop brings great joy in the community as well as a steady income for the owner.
Clinic
Jake Egyir is supported to do a medical study. In 2026 he will finish his study and be a doctor.
The vision is he will start a new clinic. This way more people will have access to medical help, while it also generates an income for the doctor and other personel.

We have vison for more projects. We think of more workshops, shops, troto’s, shito export company and taxi’s.
